Tonight's scheduled lifting is a continuation of the previous experimental lifting of the bridge carried out successfully, as part of the completion of the works on the first phase of the project to renew the electromechanical system of the Moveable Bridge of Bizerte, Tamni said. She called on various users of this construction to be vigilant and comply with the instructions of the traffic police who will ensure the smooth flow of traffic in this area. The operation of the electromechanical system of the bridge allows a resumption of its activity, namely lifting at 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. , pending the completion of the work on the other components of the project including the fire protection system and the monitoring system.
