Measures to rationalise management of pharmaceutical system and preserve its long-term viability

A number of measures to rationalise the management of the pharmaceutical system, particularly with regard to the supply of medicines and their availability to the public were taken at a ministerial working session held Wednesday in the Kasbah, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani. It was also decided to take measures to ensure the sustainability of the pharmaceutical system and the national pharmaceutical industry, with the aim of further strengthening the health system in general. The meeting was attended by Minister of the Interior, Kamel Feki, Minister of Finance, Sihem Namsia Boughdiri, Minister of Health, Ali Mrabet, Minister of Social Affairs, Malek Zahi, Minister of Trade and Export Development, Kalthoum Ben Rejeb Guezzah, and Governor of the Central Bank, Marouane Abbasi.
