Candidates Amor Laabidi and Ahlem Ben Amara in the localities of Siliana-city (delegation of north Siliana) and Ras El Ouadi (delegation of Makhter), respectively, have stepped up their activities as part of the election campaign for the local elections in the governorate of Siliana. Candidate Amor Laabidi promised to work to set up an industrial area, encourage projects and investments in the region, improve transport services and upgrade schools. Candidate Ahlem Ben Amara pledged to set up a primary health centre, create a fund to compensate for agricultural damage and provide more support for vulnerable groups.
