Fifteen Tunisian enterprises operating in the packaging and printing industry will take part in HISPACK 2024, due next May 7-10 in Barcelona, Spain. The Tunisian participation in this leading packaging, processing, and logistics event is organised by the Packaging and Conditioning Technical Centre (French: PACKTEC) It is aimed to prospect opportunities of exportation and access to new markets, said Director General Abdelkarim Hamdaoui. Tunisian enterprises will be able to know more about innovations in relation to packaging technologies and international regulations. PACKTEC intends to organise the Tunisian participation in three events and take part as a partner in seven fairs in Dubai, Paris, Saoudi Arabia, Canada and the USA. HISPACK Marketing Director Sonia Fernández Mañas said the packaging trade fair seeks to bring together national and international businesses, 720 direct exhibitors and 1,250 brands marketed on an area of about 31,00 square metres. The event, which is expected to attract about 31 ,000 visitors, is also aimed to ease interaction between the sectors of supply and demand while putting emphasis on innovation. A range of solutions in connection to packaging materials, equipment and technologies for processing, packaging, traceability , labelling, logistics and electronic trade will also be put forward.
