A round-table on "Algerian-Tunisian Agricultural Synergies: Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainable Development" was organised on Wednesday in Algiers (Algeria) by the Tunisia African Business Council (TABC), in parntership with the Arab African Centre for Investment and Development (CAAID) and with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation. Several topics were discussed during this event, notably on food security, bilateral agricultural cooperation, agri-food dynamics and continental prospects, agri-tech innovation between Tunisia and Algeria, etc.. The event further helped explore the opportunities and pinpoint the challenges to be met in the agricultural sector so as to ensure food security for both countries. The roundtable was attended by several Tunisian and economic operators, Algerian experts and government officials representing notably the ministries of Agriculture, of Foreign Affairs, etc..
