The kickoff of the rehabilitation project in Helba 1 and Helba 2 districts in Tozeur was given Thursday. The 8.8 million dinar project is implemented by the Urban Rehabilitation and Renovation Agency (French: ARRU). This project, Governor Mohamed Aymen Béjaoui told TAP, is designed to promote the quality of life of some 10,600 residents. Upgrading works of Nefleyet road already got underway. ARRU Project manager Jamel Dridi said the project was launched last December 18 and is set to be completed on August 7, 2025. The project provides for the asphalting of a 12.5 km stretch of roads, the Installation of a water supply system over 5 km and 125 electricity poles and setting up a sanitation system over 3.4 km.
