Dam fill rate at 23.5% on December 15 (ONAGRI)

The dam fill rate has not exceeded 23.5% on December 15, according to the latest data published by the National Observatory of Agriculture (Onagri). By mid-December, water reserves in dams were limited to 543.4 million m3, compared to an average of 859.8 million m3 over the last three years, a decrease of 36.8%. The Sidi Salem dam, which is in the best position, accounts for 29% of all water reserves (158.8 million m3), which is 27% of its filling capacity. The Sejnane and Sidi SaSd dams are about 26% (34 million m3) and 23% (31 million m3) full respectively, while the Bouhertma and Joumine dams are not more than 24% (27.4 million m3) and 11% (13 million m3) full respectively. As for the two dams of Houareb and El Hamma, they are completely empty (0%).
