Tunis: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, met Monday in Tunis with representative of the Korean government and executive director of the Korea-Africa Summit Jeong Ki-hong, who is making a working visit to Tunisia on March 24 and 25. During the meeting, the minister praised the excellent level of relations between Tunisia and the Republic of Korea and the concrete bilateral cooperation programmes in line with Tunisia's priorities, particularly in the fields of investment and good governance. He stressed Tunisia's keenness to develop and diversify them, whether at bilateral or trilateral (Korean-Tunisian-African) level. Nabil Ammar stressed the importance of multilateral cooperation and the development of win-win partnerships, such as the Korea-Africa partnership, and Tunisia's willingness to actively contribute to these frameworks and benefit from their mechanisms. For his part, Jeong Ki-hong praised the strength of the historical relations between Korea and Tunisia a nd reiterated his government's commitment to continue supporting cooperation with Tunisia, particularly in priority development areas.
