Head of State visits several districts of capital, confirms that “there is no turning back”

President Kais Saied paid a visit to the Sejoumi district in Tunis, the capital, on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a tour of the Kasbah, Zeituna mosque and the ancient city, says a press release issued this evening by the Presidency of the Republic. The Head of State also met with a number of citizens on Avenue Habib Bourguiba in the capital and listened to their concerns and aspirations, assuring them that "there is no turning back". According to a video published by the Presidency of the Republic on its official social media page, the Head of State met with a number of citizens and shopkeepers from the Séjoumi region, and listened to their concerns, which included power cuts, drinking water, and a shortage of bread. In his conversation with them, the Head of State stressed that "the distress will be lifted from the people", adding that "we are moving forward and will not move backwards".
