Kaïs Saïed says Tunisia needs new legislation in all fields

President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed pointed out that Tunisia, more than ever, needs new legislation in all fields, in keeping with the objectives of the July 25, 2022 Constitution. Receiving on Friday Speaker of the Assembly of People's Representatives Brahim Bouderbala, the Head of State reviewed a set of bills, including the 2024 Finance Bill and the 2023 Supplementary Finance Bill, according to a Presidency of the Republic press release. Countering corruption and cleansing the Tunisian administration of people who have entered it without any right were also discussed, the same source added. Saïed presented in this regard, preliminary results of the audit carried out in one of the public establishments. These results show that 1,500 people were recruited illegally. The meeting also focused on the crimes committed by the Zionist entity and the stolen rights of the Palestinian people. The Head of State underscored that the Zionist movement is endeavouring to establish a new order in the Middle East region, adding that "all free souls must stand united against this project for a new Middle East."
