Kais Saied: state will not stand idly by against speculators

President of the Republic Kais Saied chaired a working meeting at the Prime Ministry on Thursday attended by Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani, Interior Minister Kamel Feki, Finance Minister Sihem Nemsia Boughdiri and Social Affairs Minister Malek Zahi.

During the meeting, he insisted on preserving the unity of the state and ensuring coordination between all its institutions.

He warned that "the bread shortage crisis must not be repeated. The same applies to other products," he said, adding that "some parties are planning to create other crises in the country.

The state will strike all speculators and work tirelessly to "clean up" the administration, he reiterated.

After the working session in the Kasbah, Saied went to the medina and then to Avenue Habib Bourguiba, where he spoke to a number of citizens.
