KEF: The quantities of grains collected in the governorate of Kef increased, since the start of the harvest until Monday, June 24, to reach 222 thousand 800 quintals, or 75% of the sown areas were harvested in the region. President of the Regional Union of Agriculture, Mounir Laabidi, told TAP that the quantities harvested are divided between 148,000 quintals of durum wheat, 70,000 quintals of barley and 3,000 quintals of soft wheat. He added that all means have been mobilized to make the harvest season a success, including the protection of grain farms against fires.
