President Kais Saied met Thursday at the Carthage Palace with Minister of National Defence, Imed Memmich. During the meeting, the Head of State reaffirmed the pride of the Tunisian people in the armed forces in the defence of the homeland, as well as their dedication in various fields such as health, transport, election security, exams and others, according to a statement from the Presidency. The President of the Republic also stressed the need to develop the military capabilities of the armed forces and provide them with the best conditions to continue playing their national role in defending the inviolability of Tunisia and the wealth of its people.
