Angola exports green hydrogen to Germany

Angola will export green hydrogen to German from the beginning of 2024 ,said Tuesday in Luanda the Angolan diplomatic representative in the region, ambassador Balbina da Silva.

The diplomat told the media on the sidelines of the IX Consultative Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), adding that the move will allow the country to attract more revenue.

The diplomat did not provide further details about the process, highlighting only the advantages of green hydrogen, as a product generated by renewable or low-carbon energy.

Balbina da Silva also highlighted the fact that the country is committed to mass economic diplomacy.

Whereas, the Angolan ambassador to the United States, Agostinho Van-Dúnem, referred to the focus on exploring other sectors that could channel and mobilize foreign investment to the country.

He added that this involves promoting tourism through culture and the exchange of experiences.

As for the strategies of Angolan diplomacy, Agostinho Van-Dunem said that the country will continue to be a promoter of peace and security, always highlighting the importance of dialogue.
