Stock market starts week on slightly positive note

The stock market started the week with a slight increase of 0.06% to 8491.04 points on a modest volume of TND 2.1 million, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs.

The best performer of the session was BH Leasing, whose shares rose 5.7% to TND 3.520 on a limited flow of TND 19,000.

SITS shares also rose 4.4% to TND 1.660 on limited trading of TND 5,000, down 10.8% since the beginning of the year.

SOTIPAPIER shares were the worst hit. The paper manufacturer's shares fell by 4.9% to TND 5.040 with a flow of TND 49,000. This brought the company's annual stock market losses to 24.6%.

SERVICOM shares also fell by 4.6% to TND 0.2100, with a flow of TND 2,000.

ATL shares led the volume charts. The leasing company's share price fell by 0.27% to TND 3.750, providing the market with capital of TND 494,000.
