Tunindex consolidates its recovery Wednesday

The Tunindex consolidated its recovery on Wednesday at the end of a very busy session (a flow of TND 43.6 million). The benchmark index rose by 0.48% to 8651.0 points, bringing its annual performance to +6.88%, according to stock market broker Tunisie Valeurs. Five block trades worth a total of TND 32 million boosted trading, including three transactions worth TND 29.3 million in SOTUVER shares, one worth TND 4.2 million in TPR shares and one worth TND 2.5 million in Magasin Général shares. SERVICOM recorded the largest increase on the stock market (+4.6% to 0.230D) on a ridiculous volume of TND 1,000. STAR shares continued their positive trend. The insurer's share price rose by 4% to TND 182.000, generating capital of TND 1.5 million. The stock has held up well since the beginning of the year, with a performance of +22.2%. SOMOCER was the worst performer on the Tunindex. The ceramics specialist's share price fell by 2.7% to TND 0.730. The stock attracted a limited volume of TND 3,000. TUNISAIR shares w ere among the biggest losers of the session. The national carrier's shares lost 2.1% to TND 0.460 on a flow of TND 7,000. SOTUVER was the session's star stock, topping the trading charts and accounting for 68% of the session's total volume. Three block trades worth TND 29.3 million drove trading in the stock.
