Tunis: Olympique de Beja qualified for the semi-finals of the 2023-2024 Tunisian soccer Cup after defeating Avenir Sportif de la Marsa 3-2 after extra time (2-2 at the end of normal time) in the second quarter-final of the competition, played at the Chedly Zouiten stadium on Saturday. The goals for O. Beja came from Aly Desse Sissoko (66'), Rabii Homri (95') and Bonheur Mugisha (93'), while Wissem Bousnina (79') and Omar Traidi (89') scored for Marsa from the penalty spot. Club Athlétique Bizertin had qualified with a 1-0 win over Sporting Club de Ben Arous on Friday. Alaeddine Bouallagui scored from the spot in the second extra time (129').
