A memorandum of understanding will be signed on October 31 between the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the municipality of Tunis.

The "Karamati" project, which is designed to improve quality public health facilities tailored to the needs of women, girls and children in the "Hay Helal" neighbourhood of the capital, will be announced on this occasion.

This project is based on a participatory approach that consists in defining local needs in order to find appropriate solutions that take into account local priorities for sustainable development.
