Tunisia will take part in the 2nd edition of the 2024 Rendez-vous d'affaires de la Francophonie which will be held on June 12-14, 2024 in Quebec City, Canada. This participation is organised by CEPEX in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy to Tunisia and in partnership with the main institutions of the national entrepreneurial ecosystem. Organised by Québec International, the Québec City Convention Centre and Québec Destination Affaires, the Rendez-vous aims to forge strategic alliances within the broad French-speaking business network. The French-speaking world comprises 54 countries and accounts for 20% of international trade in goods and 16% of world GDP, according to the Alliance des Patronats Francophones (APF). The 1st edition of this event, held in July 2022, saw the participation of 430 entrepreneurs and economic development players from 14 countries, 375 business meetings and an estimated C$6 million in spin-offs. In addition to the face-to-face networking space that will be held over the 3 days in the province of Quebec, online networking opportunities will be offered to participants via the B2B2GO business meeting platform. The launch of Tunisia's participation in this 2nd edition of the 2024 Rendez-vous d'affaires de la Francophonie was made official at a promotional meeting held on November 20, 2023 at the Canadian Embassy in Tunis, in the presence of the official representative of the event's Canadian organising team and various Tunisian stakeholders. The event will take place 2 days before Collision Toronto, The Olympics of TECH (June 17-20, 2024). Participation in this mission will therefore be doubly beneficial for Tunisian entrepreneurs operating in the IT field, insofar as business opportunities in the Canadian market will be explored in 2 Canadian provinces.
