Tunis: A documentary exhibition was held, on Tuesday, at the National Military Museum at the Palace of the Rose in Manouba, on the 68th Anniversary of the National Army and will continue until July 3. The exhibition hall showed a poster made up of photos and names of 110 soldiers who were martyred in terrorist attacks, Director of Heritage, Information and Culture at the of the National Defense Ministry, Colonel-Major Samir Chami told TAP. The poster is a tribute to the martyrs of the military institution. It is also an opportunity for citizens to discover the rigor of military work and the difficulty of the missions of the nation's soldiers, he added. He pointed out that the documentary exhibition on the national army covers the various activities of the armed forces, offering citizens a window on these activities, whether training, fight against terrorism, protection of the country against any internal or external aggression, or even support for State institutions within the framework of overall developm ent. According to him, the goal of the exhibition is to allow citizens to discover the richness of the Tunisian history, which the national military museum presents starting from the epic of Hannibal to that of Ben Guerdane passing through the different key stages of the Tunisian army.
