Tunis: The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) announced the upcoming launch of the new digital Exchange Operations platform "EXOP" dedicated to the submission and processing of foreign exchange requests, as well as the new version of the «Fiche-Invest» service relating to foreign currency investments by non-residents in Tunisia. The «EXOP» platform offers an integrated and secure solution allowing financial institutions, businesses and individuals to submit their foreign exchange requests to the BCT in a simple and rapid manner thanks to a set of new functionalities, the BCT said in a press release, published Tuesday in Tunis. Thanks to the real-time exchange that "EXOP" allows, the depositary has the possibility of exchanging in real time with the person in charge of the file for any additional information. Thanks to «EXOP», the BCT adopts electronic decision, that is to say a digital approach for documents containing its decision by integrating the «QR Code 2D-doc» component which makes it possible to easily verify the authenticity of the document decision issued by the BCT. This initiative not only strengthens the security and efficiency of processes, but also marks an important step towards a more digitalized and connected administration.
