CEPEX: purchase mission for Moroccan supermarket and hypermarket chain

The Export Promotin Centre (French: CEPEX) is organising, through its representation office in Morocco, a purchase and contact mission on November 22-23 for a Moroccan supermarket and hypermarket chain. The mission, organised with the support of national carrier Tunisair and the Moroccan Purchasing Community Association (AMCA), is intended to present large retail outlets in Morocco with Tunisian suppliers able to meet market demands. CEPEX held Wednesday, as part of this event, a number of B2B meetings with the participation of some thirty Tunisian enterprises. With over 70 medium-sized stores in urban areas and outlets on the outskirts of seven large cities in Morocco, the supermaket and hypermarket chain targeted during this mission more than 15 product groups, including tableware, office supplies, sanitaryware, equipment, animal products, garden products, decorative accessories, storage products,etc. The Moroccan group will make targeted visits to Tunisian producers to familiarise with the supply pote ntial, know-how and products which may be of interest to Moroccan consumers. The mission is designed to increase Tunisian exports and maintain the upward trend observed over the last years. Tunisian exports to Morocco amounted to TND 850 million in 2022.
