The Investigating Judge at the Judicial Counter-Terrorism Division had decided on Friday to release Chaima Issa, a National Salvation Front political activist who has been detained since last February, member of the defence group Sami Trigui said.
The defence group of the detainees in the so-called "conspiracy against State security" case had submitted requests for their release this week but only Issa's had been accepted, he told TAP.
Issa will, however, be further interrogated while remaining at liberty, Trigui said, adding that the public prosecutor's office may appeal against this decision only today, Friday.
Chaima Issa was detained last February 22, along with several other lawyers and politicians, over the so-called "conspiracy against State security" case.
