Tunis: Scaling up cooperation between Korea and African countries will improve the learning environment for youth in the African Continent by investing in infrastructure and sharing expertise in innovation, said Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani. Taking the floor at the 2024 Korea-Africa Youth Startup Forum held Wednesday on the sidelines of the Korea-Africa Summit, the Premier added that the youth are the future of Africa and the Continent's countries must provide all conditions and the favourable environment for learning and initiative. Tunisia has been investing for decades in the education of its youth and encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, Hachani added. Tunisia has also provided conducive legislation, such as the 2018 Startup Act. The PM is currently participating in the Korea-Africa Summit held on June 4-5 in Seoul under the theme of "The Future We Make Together: Shared Growth, Sustainability, and Solidarity" as part of a working visit to Korea on June 3-6. Delegations from African countries a nd related international organisations, key figures from Korean and international business communities, academia, civil society groups, media, etc, are partaking in this summit.
