A high-level delegation composed of senior officials and advisors from the Djiboutian Ministry of Women and Family stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two countries' ministries in areas of common interest during a meeting with the Minister of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, Amel Belhaj Moussa, on Monday. The members of the Djiboutian delegation, led by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Anissa Hassan Bahdon, said this working visit to Tunisia from January 25 to 30 had enabled them to learn about the Tunisian experience and the programmes and strategies of the Ministry of the Family and its various structures. During the meeting, the members of the delegation praised the Tunisian experience in the fields of the family, women, children and the elderly, according to a press release issued by the Ministry. The programme of the Djibouti delegation's visit to Tunisia included a series of working sessions with the directors of the Centre for Research, Stud ies, Documentation and Information on Women (CREDIF), the National Observatory for Combating Violence against Women, the Directorate for the Elderly and the General Directorate for Children, as well as field visits to the Mansoura Women's Development Complex in Manouba, the Observatory for Children's Rights and the Children's Complex in La Marsa.
