Sousse: The inauguration of the new premises of the Institut Français de Sousse, which aims to be an effective tool in the service of creativity in the region, is scheduled for the beginning of May 2024, with an exhibition on the theme "Dialogue of Worlds," said the Institut français de Tunis (IFT). The latter launched a call for participation to draw various talents to contribute to this event, testifying to a sustained support for the region's cultural development. The event's theme conjures up an artistic journey across geographical, temporal and artistic boundaries, a living dialogue, a bridge between worlds, where differences are celebrated and similarities revealed, where artists are invited to express their personal vision. This theme further stirs both curiosity and imagination, where each work should be the point of convergence between multiple universes, offering visitors a journey that transcends boundaries, the IFT added. The call is open to artists or artistic groups (in all disciplines) resi dent in and/or from Sousse and the neighbouring region, as well as to artists or groups who previously exhibited with proposals for digital installations, in duos or groups, responding to the theme "Dialogue of Worlds." As part of its cultural activities in Sousse, the Institut Français offers the general public an artistic and cultural programme of conferences, literary meetings and debates, shows and concerts, exhibitions and film screenings on contemporary Tunisian, French and French-speaking art.
