Sousse: The Criminal Chamber of the Sousse 1 Court of First Instance, which held its first hearing on Monday in the case known in the media as "Instalingo", decided to postpone the hearing until July 8 and to reject all demands for release, said court spokesman Wissam Cherif. In a statement to TAP, Cherif added that the proceedings of the first hearing took place within the framework of remote trial, in accordance with the law and procedures applied by the Court of First Instance of Sousse. Wissam Cherif said that the court issued a detention warrant for one defendant and decided to hire a sign language specialist for a defendant with special needs at the hearing level to ensure proper communication with the court. It also ordered that the remaining defendants, some of whom are detained in connection with other cases, be summoned and brought to court. According to the same source, it was also decided to meet the defence's request to bring the arrested defendants directly to the court for the next hearing. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
