Head of the Tunisian Red Crescent Anas Lahkim, on Wednesday, stated that the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is expected to extend the provision of rations to migrants stranded in the Bab Jebli neighbourhood in Sfax. «The decision to extend the assistance should be made in the coming hours, enabling the resumption of ration distribution before Wednesday evening.» Additionally, a number of citizens, civil society activists, and the Tunisian Red Crescent are continuing to support this wave of solidarity by providing food and clothing to the migrants, while public healthcare facilities continue to provide medical assistance.
