Local election candidate Nouri Balbali, representing the Imada of Kheireddine Bacha (delegation of the El Khadhra neighbourhood/Tunis 2 constituency) said that he will endeavour to set up a vocational training centre to integrate young people and drop-out students into the working life. He also promised to facilitate access to municipal services in his region. He deemed it necessary to establish a public library and a youth centre, and to improve the quality of public transport services, particularly those of metro number 2. The candidate also underlined the need to have a weekly market and a shopping centre in the area to better serve citizens. He also promised to resolve the problems related to the current state of the infrastructure (repair the public lighting and prevent the stagnation of rainwater). Once elected, he also undertook to improve public cleanliness and hygiene and to take action to beautify public spaces. The cadidate further intends to solve the problem of stray dogs, "which threaten the lives of citizens" and to provide health services in the region by eneavouring to construct a nursing and a health care facilities.
