The active forces of the rural commune of Zecco, a locality located approximately 40 km east of Pô, mobilized on Saturday August 24, 2024, to repair national road no. 25 which crosses the said municipality. This Saturday, August 24, 2024, was a day of great mobilization in the rural commune of Zecco, located approximately 40 km east of the town of Pô and on the border with Ghana. Indeed, the populations of the said municipality, under the leadership of the municipal coordination of citizen monitoring, mobilized to repair the section of national road No. 25 which crosses the said municipality. Several means (tricycles, wheelbarrows, picks, shovels) were deployed to give a new face to the track which was in an advanced state of degradation. 'This road under the effect of rainwater has deteriorated greatly and the State cannot do everything, it is our duty to use the means at hand to repair this road which is a common good,' said indicated the municipal coordinator of the citizen watch of Zecco, Banga Sia. From 8 a.m., FDS, VDP and populations mobilized as one man to repair national road No. 25 which crosses the town. On the scene, young people worked to transport aggregates (laterite and stones) to plug the holes, the elderly to boost the morale of the young people. The municipal coordination of the citizen watch, while welcoming the support of the populations, invited each son and daughter of the municipality to remain mobilized until the objective is achieved, namely repairing the track 3km away.
