Nizar Ben Neji accompanies Tunisian start-ups to WebSummit Qatar 2024

Minister of Communication Technologies, Nizar Ben Neji, inaugurated the Tunisian stand dedicated to Tunisian start-ups at the "WebSummit Qatar 2024" in Doha, taking place from February 26 to 29. Organised and managed by the Department of Communication Technologies, this space will showcase for four days the digital creations and solutions developed by Tunisian promoters at this event. More than 15,000 participants, 1,043 start-ups and more than 400 investors from over 113 countries are taking part in WebSummit Qatar 2024. Two Tunisian stands have been set up at the show, the first hosting startups working in the fields of smart transport, e-learning, smart agriculture, e-health (digital health), robotics and artificial intelligence, while the second is reserved for partners who have supported Tunisia's participation in WebSummit Qatar 2024. Nizar Ben Neji, quoted in a ministry press release, spoke of Tunisia's policy of supporting innovation and creativity and encouraging leadership, highlighting the mini stry's interest in the participation of startups in major international events. "This allows them to network and establish strategic commercial partnerships, sell their services, products and digital solutions in the four corners of the world, and find investors to develop their initiatives and capture new markets," he said.
