Tunis: Open Startup (OST), key player in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa, announced Wednesday the launch of the call for applications in the OST Programme. This is a pan-African initiative sparked in collaboration with the Columbia Engineering and Columbia Business School in New York and aimed to support startups at early-stage development and promising talents in Tunisia, Senegal and Morocco. The programme will run from September 2024 to January 2025. Thirty startups (10 from each country) will be selected to move from proof-of-concept (PoC) to minimum viable product (MVP) during an intensive 18-week hybrid programme. Participants will beenfit from cash prizes (US$ 50,000 pool with 0 equity), talent matching with local and international experts, extensive network (integration into OST's cross-continental ecosystem), tailored mentorship, and global exposure: (immersive visits to NYC and key African markets).
