(TAP)- The Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly launched 916 projects for mothers of pupils at risk of dropping out of school with a budget of about TND 3.7 million. These projects are implemented in 19 governorates, as part of the economic empowerment programme of mothers of potential dropouts. The project is designed to reduce school dropouts and help mothers find sources of sustainable income. The programme provides training in agriculture and handicrafts and assists recipients in developing and securing the sustainability of their projects.
