Tunis: President Kais Saied met on Wednesday at Carthage Palace with Interior Minister Khaled Nouri and Secretary of State to the Minister of Interior in charge of National Security, Sofiane Ben Sadok, to discuss the security situation in the country. The meeting also addressed a number of other topics, including the filling of vacancies and the role of municipalities in providing services to citizens in the best conditions, the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement. The Head of State stressed that certain phenomena, such as the failure to remove rubbish and its accumulation for weeks in several regions of the Republic, "are neither natural nor innocent". The President called for the necessary decisions to be taken against all those who fail in their duties.
