President Kais Saied arrived Thursday afternoon in Jeddah to participate in the 32nd session of the Arab Summit that will be held on Friday, in the presence of a significant number of Arab leaders.
The Head of State was received at Jeddah Royal Airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Badr bin Sultan, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar, and Tunisia's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Hichem Fourati.
The current regular session is marked by the participation of the Syrian Arab Republic for the first time in 12 years.
The security and economic files, developments in the Palestinian territories, the political crisis in Lebanon, the escalation in Sudan, and the issue of Syrian refugees will be the key items on the agenda of leaders of the region at this summit.
The 31st summit was held in Algeria in November 2022 after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
