Russia's Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov is paying a two-day working visit on December 20-21 in Tunis, at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar. This visit aims to step up political consultations between Tunisia and Russia, examine ways to help scale up cooperation in various fields and explore new partnership opportunities between the two countries, reads a Foreign Affairs Ministry press release. This working visit will also offer the opportunity to further discussions on current regional and international issues, in particular the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
