The stock market has begun the week in the green. The benchmark index improved by 0.34% to 8,487.21 points, on low trading volume of TND 1 million, as reported on Monday by the Tunisian stock intermediary «Tunisie Valeurs.» The SIPHAT stock displayed the best performance during the session, surging by 4.5% to TND 5.830. Trading activity for this stock was nearly non-existent. The pharmaceutical laboratory's shares have seen an impressive 41.8% increase since the beginning of the year. MPBS shares ranked among the top gainers of the session, as the specialist in wood products saw its stock rise by 4.4% to TND 4.700, on almost negligible trading volume. SFBT was the most active stock of the session. The shares of the carbonated beverages and alcoholic beverages specialist remained stable at TND 12.610, contributing TND 315,000 to market capitalisation. The stock has experienced a 6.5% decrease since the start of the year. Hannibal Lease, on the other hand, faced the most significant investor backlash during the session. The leasing company's stock price dipped by 3.9% to TND 4.750, with a meagre trading volume of TND 1,000. Euro-Cycles shares recorded one of the weaker performances of the session, declining by 2.3% to TND 13. During the session, the company attracted TND 57,000 in capital.
