Tunis: The stock market commenced the week on a negative note, shedding 0.7% to settle at 9,655.59 points, according to broker Tunisie Valeur. Trading activity was robust, reaching TND 12.5 million, buoyed by seven block transactions involving One Tech Holding, amounting to a total of TND 9 million. Magasin Général's stock led the gains. The retail giant's shares surged by 4.4% to TND 5.990, although trading volume was negligible. SOTIPAPIER's stock demonstrated strong performance during the session, advancing by 3.3% to TND 4.700, despite mobilising a meagre flow of TND 1,000. SFBT ranked as the worst performer on the Tunindex. The beverage company's stock declined by 2.9% to TND 12.500, with a trading volume of only TND 88,000 during the session. SOTETEL also emerged among the session's biggest losers. The telecommunications specialist's stock fell by 2.9% to TND 5.440, with a volume of TND 146,000 traded during the session. One Tech Holding (OTH) was the most sought-after stock of the session. The ho lding company's shares ended in positive territory (+0.4% to TND 9.180), injecting the market with TND 10.1 million (81% of the total trading volume), supported by seven block transactions valued at TND 9 million.
