Tunis: The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Judicial Economic and Financial Division on Wednesday ordered the detention of two Tunisair employees currently working at Monastir airport for presenting forged diplomas, spokesman for the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance in Tunis, Mohamed Zitouna, told TAP. He added that the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial Economic and Financial Division has authorised the Third Central Squad for the Investigation of Complex Financial Crimes at the National Guard in El Aouina to continue investigations to uncover the parties that facilitated these frauds. Mohamed Zitouna said that the security team found that the first employee presented two diplomas issued by two private educational institutions in Kasserine and Sousse, which turned out to be fraudulent, according to the legal representative of the regional education delegation in Kasserine and the legal representative of the regional education delegation in Sousse. With regard to the secon d employee, the investigations carried out by the security team revealed that he had presented a baccalaureate diploma that was suspected of being fraudulent, since the year of his posting was the same as the year in which he had obtained this diploma.
