President of the Independent Regional Authority for Elections in Zaghouan, Lassed Farhani said that 42 observers were recruited, ahead for the local council elections. He told TAP that the recruited observers were sworn in before the Zaghouan Court, adding that the total number of observers to be recruited for monitoring the electoral campaign should reach 54 agents. The recruitment of observers will end on Friday, December 2. Candidates running for the local elections in the region will have to contact the IRIE, starting from Thursday, November 30, to obtain the necessary authorizations so as to organize their electoral activities.
